Lisa and Blair – Engagement Session – Ann Arbor Michigan

We were on the road, not even half way to Ann Arbor and it started POURING!
So I called Lisa.
We talked it through and she said “Let me call you back in a couple minutes”.

That next phone call speaks a lot about Lisa and Blair.
She said to me, “We want to do it! Let’s just risk it!”.

Ann Arbor is one of my favorite cities in Michigan. If I didn’t live in Grand Rapids, I’d definitely live in Ann Arbor.
University of Michigan’s campus is beautiful!

The best part? Lisa and Blair acted sort of as tour guides during the shoot. The best piece of information? “This is where Blair proposed”. My response? Like, RIGHT here? Yep. right there :)

My words can’t do it justice…these two are really in tune with each other. All their little gestures and quirks, spontaneous dancing and romantic moments.
It was a privilege to see just how in love they are :)

There’s just something about sharing life with another person.
It makes the burdens easier to carry.
It makes the laughter so much more full and obnoxious.
It makes life…well, for lack of a better term…better.

You see that with Bethany and Brian.
They know how to carry each other’s burdens.
They know how to laugh harder than I’ve ever heard :)
And let me tell you, they LOVE each other!

So looking forward to their wedding this summer :)

Boy leaves to serve in the military.
They write letters back and forth…and over time fall in love.

I could tell you the rest, but maybe you should just see these two :)

Andrew, Sarah…thank you for your service to this country. Please know that you are appreciated for what you both sacrifice for our freedom.
